Artwork Details:
Like most of my illustration work, this image depicts an abstract scene or narrative in visual form. The artwork incorporates many elements of a traditional style accompanied by digital manipulation throughout the image. The main line art and shape work were drawn out first with a tablet to achieve a more natural line flow. A variety of background and abstract elements were then created on various layers to form the overall environment. Toward the final stages a few textured layers and blending modes are applied to give the image a vintage impression.

Wacom Comments:
Using a Wacom Tablet is much more ergonomic than using a standard desktop mouse. (especially being taught to draw left handed) The overall visual representations of ideas can be executed much more efficiently on the digital platform. I have found imagery produced with a tablet results in a much more streamline look. From my experience a robust and rich editing capability can be achieved In digital painting, illustration, and photo manipulation. I have found Wacom products to be helpful with both print and web alike.
